To ease the transition to middle school, Crescent prepares fifth graders by having them change classes and teachers for math, language arts, and science & social studies. This allows our fifth graders to experience the middle school structure while still maintaining a sense of belonging and security. Fifth graders also take an overnight trip where they apply essential skills learned throughout their elementary school journey. By the end of fifth grade, Crescent’s students have made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
