Parent Tips
· Make time for “school talk” to demonstrate that you care about your children’s learning and the friends that are evolving in their circles.
· Visit the school to meet the teacher, school administrators or have lunch, participate in school activities and PTO functions. Attend field trips, school programs and parent conferences.
· Remember that the teacher is on your team. Communication is key. Get to know your child’s teachers and their expectations.
· Check your child’s homework agenda nightly.
