Welcome to Jackson Road Elementary School and the 2009-2010 school year. It is always exciting to begin a new school year with new opportunities, students, staff, parents and friends. Let me take this opportunity to welcome all of our new Jackson Road family members as well as welcome all returning members. It will be my honor and privilege to work with all of you!
As the principal of Jackson Road Elementary, it will be my goal to set high standards and expectations for everyone. On behalf of a superb faculty and staff, we all look forward to a year of providing your children with the best learning experience possible. Our mission at Jackson Road is to foster within each student a love for learning and global learning. It is my belief that as we nurture this desire to learn, the joy of acquiring new knowledge will enable our students to become life long learners.
As we embark upon our journey into building a positive learning environment for our students and the entire Jackson Road community, working together and strong communication will be key! It will be through a combined effort with students, parents, staff, partners in education, businesses and community, that we will accomplish great strides to become an exemplary school. We are fortunate to have a tremendous learning community to build on.
