Fifth grader Hannah won second place in a national contest sponsored by the National Braille Foundation.  Her winning story was titled "The Taco That Ran Away."

 The JRE Grant Writing Team was awarded a $5,000 grant from the NEA to purchase Coach materials for instruction.  Pictured are Lottie Harris, Melinda Owens, Tiana Fowler, Debbie Richardson and Marnie Bailey.
