The Griffin-Spalding County School System (GSCS) Athletics Department will transition to Rank One for submitting student-athlete physicals and required parent forms, effective July 1, 2025.
Rank One is a comprehensive program that will allow for secure, electronic submission of required forms and athletic physicals that are both HIPAA and FERPA compliant. Rank One also provides a secure coach/parent communication platform and an integrated scheduling feature.
GSCS District Athletic Director Bill Stikes stated, “GSCS Athletics is excited to partner with Rank One for student-athlete physical and form submission. The use of Rank One for communicating with parents and posting schedules will help our athletic departments streamline information and improve communication, helping our parents and coaches save time while ensuring safe and effective operations. This is a great opportunity for our district to provide an electronic athletic form management database for both middle and high schools, as well as modernize our athletic training documentation processes.”
GSCS Athletics has provided a one-page handout detailing 7 easy steps for submitting student-athlete physicals and signing required parent permission forms. Rank One has also created a Parent Account Tutorial to assist with the process.
Moving forward, the parents or guardians of all GSCS student-athletes will be required to create an account in Rank One using the directions above. The parents or guardians will upload the athletic physical and sign off on the required parent participation forms. GSCS Athletics staff, including school athletic directors and athletic trainers, will review all information for compliance with our regulations and will approve or deny the submission of documents. If approved, students are eligible for participation. If denied, the parents will receive an email to log into the parent portal for more information. Parents can also download the Rank One app via the Google Play store or Apple App store for instant communication.
The GSCS Rank One parent portal is open now for parents to submit athletic physicals and sign required participation forms in anticipation of the 2025-2026 school year. Starting July 1, 2025, all student-athletes must have submitted all required forms in the Rank One platform and be cleared by their school’s athletic director or athletic trainer in order to participate in any workouts, activities, practices or games. Please contact your student’s coach or your school’s athletic director or athletic trainer if you have any questions about submitting your forms via Rank One.
