The Griffin-Spalding County School System (GSCS) proudly announces the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the graduating Class of 2026 at Griffin High School and Spalding High School. These students have distinguished themselves through exceptional academic achievement, leadership and commitment to excellence throughout their high school careers.
Griffin High School:
Skyler Carroll has been named Valedictorian of the Griffin High School Class of 2026, earning the highest academic ranking among this year’s graduating seniors.
Zaiden Selby has been named Salutatorian of the Griffin High School Class of 2026, graduating with the second-highest academic ranking.
Spalding High School:
Anna Foster has been named Valedictorian of the Spalding High School Class of 2026, earning the highest academic ranking among this year’s graduating seniors.
Rhoda Osemwenkhae has been named Salutatorian of the Spalding High School Class of 2026, graduating with the second-highest academic ranking.
“These students represent the very best of our district,” said GSCS Superintendent Dr. Donald Warren.“Their hard work, determination, and commitment to learning reflect the strong support of their families, teachers, and school community. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and excited to see the impact they will make in the future.”
The valedictorians and salutatorians will be recognized during their graduation ceremonies. Spalding High School graduation ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, at Memorial Stadium. Griffin High School graduation ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 22, at Memorial Stadium.
